He can fully commit himself to the passion he has for sports while pursuing his career as a physiotherapist (Clinique de physiothérapie du Campanile). We must not forget the social work he commends himself to throughout the city, province and ultimately the country.

Social Implication -Devoted to his values
The 20th of December, Dominique met, inside a church in Levis, the orphans of Watoto Child Care Ministries of Uganda Choir. Overwhelmed with the children's stories and overjoyed with the children's smiles, Dominique decides to launch a company to which the proceeds will go towards aiding various families in Uganda. He would like to raise enough funds, by means of fundraisers within sporting events, to be able to build a home for 8 Ugandan children. By using his experience and talent, throughout the summer of 2005 he creates a basketball DVD; Handle your game.
With the hope of investing the maximum amount of revenue to the humanitarian part of the project and not the production and directing, he decides to take care of all factors regarding the production of the DVD. Therefore, with the help from his mom, his girlfriend, and a few friends, in August of 2005 he records the eight hours of video recording necessary for the creation of his DVD on ball control and dribbling. Inspired by his own personal experience and work in this sport, Dominique expands his montage which eventually becomes, some 400 hours later, Quebec's first educational basketball DVD ; Handle your game. This DVD includes more than 2 hours of drills which will challenge and also heighten your dribbling abilities and also your ball control.
Over 800 copies were sold throughout Quebec in 2006, from January to October. In the summer of 2006, with such great success with the first edition of his DVD, Dominique returns to the starting block and improves his already successful DVD, to adapt it to the Anglophone community. Result : Handle your game, over 300 exercises, 2 DVD's, and more than 3 hours of footage! Devoted to his values, Dominique decides to invest a part of his profits to various humanitarian causes, one being to help fund a bursary via Basketball Quebec and the Dominique Soucy Foundation. He tours the elementary schools and high schools of Quebec, speaking about his experience as a basketball player. In August 2007, Dominique went with his wife to Uganda in order to built two houses in tevillage of Bbira 30 minutes from Kampala. Watch the videos and photos of the trip>>>
